Finding these large Airedale Terriers is really quite difficult. All those of these large Airedale Terriers are AKC registered they cannot be entered into any AKC shows because they are out of the Airedale specifications for height and weight. Read more

Photo is Teddy, who is two years old, and Archie and Tova who are 10 weeks old. All three of these Arizona Airedales are the larger (aka Oorang or Mountain Airedales) type and although AKC registered, because they are over the AKC specifications, cannot be entered into any AKC competitions.

I have owned both the regular size Airedale terriers and the larger Airedale Terriers also known as Oorang Airedales, Mountain Airedales or just plain big Airedale Terriers.
Personally, I believe the larger Airedale Terrier is the ideal Airedale! As far as personalities go, I have seen absolutely no difference between the regular size Airedale and the larger Airedales. Read more

Airedale Puppy Art at six weeks old
These pictures of the Airedale Terrier puppies were taken at my home here in San Diego California. The mom, Annie, is 4 1/2 years old and weighs approximately 53 1/2 pounds. Annie hooked up with Jack, who is five years old and weighs between 75 and 80 pounds. Exactly 63 days after their hook up Annie gave birth to these adorable Airedale puppies.

This video shows three male Airedale Terrier puppies born in San Diego California.
Three male Airedale puppies at just over six pounds. These puppies have been weaned from their mothers milk on a combination of softened puppy food mixed in with goats milk. Currently there being fed about every seven hours. In a couple of days, we will go to a morning and an evening feeding as we transition from softened puppy food to regular puppy food. Read more

Just a couple of days ago, it was our weekly Airedale Terrier puppy weight taking time. There are two very important reasons for weighing Airedale puppies on a weekly basis. The first reason is, you want to be sure that the puppies are gaining weight every week. If for some reason they didn’t gain any weight, at this stage of their little life, it would be time to bring them to the vet.
The second main reason for weighing your Airedale puppies on a weekly basis, is to ensure that when your next deworming treatment comes up (usually every 10 days) you give the right dosage, which is based on their current weight.

On January 2, 2019, we had nine Airedale Terrier puppies born here in San Diego California. Annie, the mom, is about 53 1/2 pounds and 5 1/2 years old. The dad, Jack, is five years old and weighs approximately 75 to 80 pounds.
So, these puppy should be a little larger than the standard size Airedale Terrier. When the puppies reach eight weeks old they’ll be ready for new forever homes. Read more
