With today’s high price of gas and Diesel,  various shortages popping up,  I think it might be prudent to stock up on a couple of large bags of your favorite Airedale kibble.  I’ve already seen Costco stop stocking one brands of dog food and it seems like all their prices really jumped up.

Also I’ve noticed over the last couple of years the Covid situation as really jacked up the prices of all puppy breeds.  Obviously, with people staying home many wanted  a doggie companion, and so it was just the law of supply and demand.  But, as is usually the case, a lot of these people who wanted puppies, really didn’t think the entire situation through. Now, with many going back to work, I’m seeing that a lot of animal shelters are filling up. I’d venture to say that most of these new shelter dogs are Covid dogs.

So, now more than ever, let’s encourage those thinking of getting a new puppy, to consider an adoption first!

The Airedale Terrier ranks 37th in Stanley Coren’s The Intelligence of Dogs, being of above average working dog.
