This video was shot yesterday, and as you’ll see, where down to four Airedale puppies. All the puppies just love to get out in the backyard and run. They have a great time, but they do get tired pretty quick. Then it’s back in the house for a drink of water and a little nap.
Tomorrow, our gal, Ms. yellow, will be leaving for her new forever home up in the Los Angeles area. Read more

Male Airedale puppy leaves home
Yesterday afternoon our Mr. Gray (now Teddy) said goodbye to his Mom, brothers and sisters and headed north to Northridge California with his new human family. Wow, looking back, these eight weeks really flew by. Hard to believe we were a ten Airedale home!
It was a big day yesterday here in San Diego Airedale puppy land. First, we had one of our three female puppies leave and then we had another male puppy, our Mr. Gray (now known as Teddy), leave for Northridge California. The puppy pen looks so much bigger now, with just four puppies left. Tomorrow, another male puppy will be going to Oceanside California, and then on Saturday, a female puppy will be leaving for Los Angeles.

Airedale Terrier lovers started to come by this week to see their new family members in person. This is the first male Airedale puppy to be selected. We called him Mr. Orange, Big O and The Tank, . . . he was the biggest of our six male puppies.
Regan will be living in Claremont California. Claremont is a city on the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, California. I’m hoping that sometime in the near future, when Judy and I and any are in the LA area we might be able to meet up with Regan again, for a mother son reunion. Read more

Happy Airedale 3 week puppy birthday!
Yes, on 1-2-2019 in the afternoon all nine puppies were born from about 2:58 PM to 11:50 PM.
After the first few days of birth, I went back to letting Annie naturally feed her pups. Well, in just 3 days, I would say it was a partial success. Now, for you folks who believe in letting things go all natural, I’m sorry to say I did have to intervene to help Annie out, but, just during the first few days..

Three day old Airedale Terrier puppies born in San Diego California.
This video was taken when their eyes still had not opened. It was about a week before their eyes started to open. Even when the eyes are open, the first few days, I don’t think they are seeing correctly. It takes a little while for all the pathways to develop for correct vision. Read more

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
The Airedale is the largest of the British terriers. They weigh 19–25 kilograms (42–55 lb) in fit condition and have a height at the withers of 58–61 centimetres (23–24 in) for males, with females slightly smaller. The American Kennel Club standard specifies a very slightly smaller dog. Larger Airedales, up to 55 kilograms (121 lb) can sometimes be found in North America. They are sometimes referred to as “Oorangs” as this was the name of a kennel in Ohio in the early 1900s that produced this much larger variation, or Roosevelt Terriers. All right
