An idea for your Airedale Terriers

I should really say this is probably safe for all pets and also it’s not my original idea. Occasionally, when my two Airedales are in the backyard they’ll eat some of the grass and weeds that pop up, especially after the heavy rains we had here in San Diego.

Sure I can spray on some type of weed-killer poison, but I really don’t think this is a good idea when you have any type of pets out in your backyard.

An idea for your Airedale Terriers

So here’s what I did: I used a pressurized sprayer and mixed in 1 gallon of vinegar. This vinegar was just 5%, and if you can find the 10% ones that would obviously be much better. Then mix in 1 cup of very fine salt and 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid.

Make sure everything is well mixed and then just spray this on when you sure that you won’t have any rain for at least three days after. The photo above is what some of my weeds in the backyard look like just after two days of having been sprayed with this mixture.
