Photo is Teddy, who is two years old, and Archie and Tova who are 10 weeks old. All three of these Arizona Airedales are the larger (aka Oorang or Mountain Airedales) type and although AKC registered, because they are over the AKC specifications, cannot be entered into any AKC competitions.

For me personally it seems like just a couple of months ago; in actuality it was January 2, 2019, that Annie gave birth to nine beautiful Airedale puppies.

This was the first time that Judi or I have ever bred a female dog. We’ve seen many puppies that were just a week or two old, but never saw the actual birth of the puppies. We consulted one professional Airedale breeder and one local lady who had bred a number of Airedales, including two litters where my prior big boy Airedale, Oakley, was the sire. I felt that I was prepared for the delivery and had all supplies on hand that I could possibly need. Read more

Just to be on the safe side, until they got there first vaccinations at six weeks it was just Judy and I our son and his girlfriend ( after sanitizing their close shoes and hands ) who interacted with the puppies . After their first shot, we still sanitized visitors who wanted to come by and also at this time was the first time that we took them out into our backyard. Read more

Our 4 1/2-year-old female Airedale Terrier had her first litter of puppies on January 2. She had nine puppies, six boys and three girls.
When they were going on their seventh week new forever parents came by to select their new family members. Naturally, it was hard to see these guys go, but also good to see the smiles and joy of the people who are going to be providing them there forever homes. Read more

New human companions select their California Airedale Terrier puppies
Airedale Terrier lovers started to come by this week to see their new family members in person. This is the first male Airedale puppy to be selected. We called him Mr. Orange, Big O and The Tank, . . . he was the biggest of our six male puppies.

Female Airedale Terrier Puppies Six Weeks Old
This video shows Annie’s three female Airedale puppies going outside for the first time on their six week old birthday. I know I’ve said this before, but, it was surprising to see how much calmer and cautious they were outside as compared to being with their siblings inside our house. I’m sure the next time that I take them out, I’m going to try for at least once a day weather permitting, they’ll me more of their carefree selves.
Yesterday all the puppies had their first of three shots and this Friday all the puppies are going to be going to the veterinarian for individual physical checkups. Read more
