In this video it looks like Oakley is kissing Annie. Actually, Annie occasionally has goopy eyes and on this occasion Oakley noticed this and just decided to assist Annie in her grooming.
We’ve had both of these Oorang Airedales (aka Mountain Airedales), since they were eight weeks old! Even though there is a big weight difference, because of their great personalities they get along fabulously. Annie still has all her puppy energy while Oakley at 10 years old is much more mellow.

The Airedale is aggressive by nature, so if it is needed to interact well with other pets and suppress its hunting instincts, it is advisable to raise it from early years with smaller animals like cats and rabbits. It interacts better with larger animals, unless in a threatening situation.
Airdedale Terriers love the outdoors and being real dogs , I have had them for years, and can honestly say that the Airedale Terrier is avery independent dog, loyal and protective! Personally wouldn’t own an Airedale in a city, as they love being in the mix of stuff , not a excessory to ones hand bag , or brat kids ,, let them be what they are breed for , in the country on the back of trucks with their owner all day, not doggy daycare bullshit. yes, if you must have a pet living in the inner-city, in an apartment or condo, get yourself another breed that could fit in a handbag and not the majestic Airedale Terrier. The concrete jungle is no place for any dog and especially the king of the Terriers!
